BUCS Big Wednesday is undoubtedly the biggest sporting event in the British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) calendar, and it will be hosted by the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ on Wednesday 25 March 2020. And we need your help to make it happen!
BUCS Big Wednesday will see over 500 of the UK’s top university teams — and over 1,600 athletes — descend on campus for a huge day of Championship and Trophy finals. ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Sport is now recruiting over 100 student volunteers to help them deliver the event.
No prior sporting experience is required and the roles offer a fantastic opportunity to experience a huge national event first-hand.
Volunteers at BUCS Big Wednesday will also receive:
- full training from BUCS and ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Sport
- free BUCS stash to keep after the event
- a free meal provided during your volunteering shift
- the additional opportunity to volunteer at the BUCS Nationals in Sheffield from Friday 14 – Sunday 16 February 2020
