Students in Classrooms is a great opportunity to get work experience in a classroom setting.
The scheme – run in partnership with ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Trent University – places students in local schools within ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½shire, giving you the chance to be an educational role model for young people.
Applications are now open and placements will start in January 2021 (subject to COVID-19 restrictions).

Students in Classrooms gives you the opportunity to:
- work with young people in 1-2-1 and small group settings
- gain work experience in a classroom setting
- work in primary or secondary schools
- make a difference to the futures of young people in ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½shire
This is a paid work opportunity consisting of 10 placement days between January and May. The precise timings are flexible to fit around your studies, but weekly attendance is preferred and a commitment of 5-7 hours a week is required.
