Help prevent food waste with Karnival's food bank collection.
Organisers will be going door-to-door in Lenton collecting spare food to donate to FareShare ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½, helping reduce food waste and giving you an easy way to clean out your cupboards before the winter break.
To take part, just put your spare food in a bag ready to hand over to volunteers on Wednesday 14 December between 2 and 5pm. Alternatively, you can leave the bag of donations on your doorstep to be collected, or even .
FareShare are looking for the following donations:
- Tinned meat or fish
- Baked beans
- Tinned pasta
- Tinned fruit and veg
- Pasta, rice, lentils
- Cooking sauces
- Cereal bars/biscuits
- UHT milk
- Fruit juice
- Tea/coffee
