Biography
I am Jazaa Alotaibi, a lecturer at Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, and I am currently pursuing a PhD in Geography at the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½.
My research focuses on examining the effects of climate variability and future climate change on perennial vegetation dynamics within the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Royal Reserve, located in north-western Saudi Arabia.
The research integrates Geographic Information Systems (GIS), remote sensing, climate data, and spatial modeling to assess historical changes in vegetation, identify the climatic and non-climatic factors influencing these changes, and develop future maps showing areas of vegetation vulnerability.
The research aims to support environmental conservation, ecological restoration, and the sustainable management of protected areas in arid environments.
