Biography
Abigail is a final-year PhD student within the Department of Music at the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½. Working towards her PhD in Musicology, her academic interests include Swedish popular music, ABBA, and the Eurovision Song Contest.
Educational History
2021-2024: PhD in Musicology at the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½: Swedish Popular Music Studies. PhD supervision by Prof. Lonán O'Briain and Dr Hannah Thuraisingam Robbins.
2020-2021: Masters in Musicology at Oxford Brookes University. Postgraduate thesis supervised by Dr Jan Butler. Result: Distinction.
2017-2020: Bachelors in Music at Oxford Brookes University. Undergraduate dissertation supervised by Dr Dai Griffiths. Result: Upper Second-Class Degree with Honours (2:1).
