We are pleased to annouce that and recent grant application has been successful.
The three year project "Threshold networks" aims to develop a new set of mathematical tools for tackling dynamical systems on networks. This will focus on the study of networks of threshold elements, using and developing techniques from non-smooth dynamical systems. Such networks are ubiquitous in biology and the social sciences, and the work will be applied to neuroscience, cardiology, and social-influence-driven opinion change. The project will fund a three-year post-doctoral fellow to work with the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ based team, and support an exciting new collaboration with at UCLA.
Well done Stephen and Ruediger!
