The ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ is putting the call out to businesses in the region to join its annual business conference on Friday 16 June.
The free-to-attend Power of Partnership event, hosted at the East Midlands Conference Centre, is open to businesses of all sizes and sectors.
Professor David Park, Dean of ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ University Business School, said: “We are really excited about the Power of Partnerships 2023. We have a diverse group of businesses attending as both exhibitors and attendees.
For those thinking about attending the event you can expect to find out more about the wide range of partnering opportunities available and talk to the organisations we already partner with and how it’s propelled their business. In addition to the fantastic networking opportunities we have a great line-up of speakers from a range of business disciplines.
The morning session will cover the opportunities and skills needed to explore originality in all aspects of business. In the afternoon, business leaders and politicians will discuss growing the economy, with updates from local MP and Leader of ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½shire County Council, Ben Bradley MP; along with Marc Abrams, Senior Partner at KPMG; Iain Blatherwick, Interim Chairman at Marketing ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ and Partner at Brown Jacobson; and Kike Oniwinde Agoro, Founder and CEO of the BYP Network.
Professor Park added: “For me, the essence of this event is to demonstrate the power of collaborative working and to explore opportunities that can lead to mutual benefit and success, I’m looking forward to making new connections.”
Business professionals who are interested in attending can secure their free place for the event on Friday 16 June by booking online and will also get further opportunity to network over a complimentary BBQ lunch. Registration on the day is from 9am and the event closes at 2:30pm.
