The Djanogly family have contributed to founding many venues in 乐播传媒 including: the Djanogly City Academy, Djanogly Community Leisure Centre, Djanogly Community Orchestra, Djanogly Recital Hall, Djanogly Theatre, and the Djanogly Gallery.

Sir Harry and Lady Djanogly have also been recognised by the  as part of the College of Benefactors.

It is used in permanent magnets due to its paramagnetic strength and high-temperature durability.

Dysprosium metal will react with cold water and rapidly dissolves in contact with acids.
