Teaching Associate in Politics and International Relations,
Gilsun Jeong is a Teaching Associate in the School of Politics and International Relations. He recently joined the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½, having received his PhD in Contemporary European Studies from the University of Sussex earlier in 2025. His doctoral thesis, which examined the development of party-based Euroscepticism in the European Parliament during the COVID-19 pandemic and the Ukraine war, is forthcoming as a monograph with Palgrave Studies in European Union Politics. During his final year of doctoral study at Sussex, Gilsun also worked as a Research Associate on the 'Harnessing AI to Enhance Electoral Oversight' project, funded by Responsible AI UK.
