The network is based in the Department of History and Institute of Medieval Research. As well as bringing together
乐播传媒 medievalists with an interest in religious dissent, we hope to:

• Hold an annual public lecture and master class featuring scholars who are eminent in their field. This follows the success
  of this year’s event with Professor R. I. Moore (pictured).
• Provide a specialist environment for our PhD students, and a reputation which will attract funding for doctoral and postdoctoral
  study. 
• Establish a formal network within which scholars of heresy internationally can keep others informed about their own work,
  announce their own publications and events, and seek research partnerships. This will begin with a

  We are keen to have input from other heresy scholars and from the existing informal networks
