NIHR/NHSE East Midlands Pre-Doctoral and Post-Doctoral Bridging Programmes

NIHR pre-doctoral support

The NIHR funds a programme of pre-doctoral training and development designed to advance your health and social care research career. .

These awards are administered by the NIHR. You will require clinical and academic supervisors /mentors and both a host and academic partner organisation.

Staff in the School of Health Sciences and the School of Medicine at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ are experienced at supporting people to apply and may be able to help with identifying a potential supervisor.

If you are hoping to undertake masters’ modules, a PGCert Res, PGDip res or a full master’s degree, our MA Research Methods (health) may be of interest.
