Karen was the first woman Deputy Vice-Chancellor at the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½. Professor of Cancer and Palliative Care, she initiated ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½’s Centre for Research in Palliative and End of Life Care. She is now Vice-Chancellor, University of Kent.
