Men's basketball programme partners with ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Hoods
The ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ and ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Hoods are proud to announce a landmark partnership, marking a significant step forward for both the club and the university’s men's basketball programme.

My goal coming into the club's leadership is to make the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ one of the strongest basketball programs in the country. Our new partnership with the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Hoods is a major step forward in achieving this and I am incredibly excited to start working together.

This new collaboration will see enhanced coaching support for ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ teams, with ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Hoods Head Coach Vladan Dragosavac leading the university’s first team and club captain Elliot Bailey taking charge of the second team. The partnership aims to accelerate the development of the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ men's basketball programme within British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) competition, raising the university’s profile on a national stage.
“This partnership represents a huge step forward for basketball in ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½,” said Russell Levenston, Managing Director of the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Hoods. “Working closely with the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ gives us the opportunity to support and develop student athletes at the highest level. With Vladan and Elliot leading the coaching programmes, we are confident the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ will grow into a national force in BUCS, while also strengthening the pathway between university and professional basketball in the city.”
