You need to register as a new student at the start of your course and re-register at the beginning of each academic year. This confirms your intention to study and provides access to university services, buildings, Moodle, your timetable, funding (if applicable) and more.
New students
You must complete online and in-person registration. How you complete you in-person registration will depend on your nationality.
If you are starting your course not on a ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ site/campus, you will need to complete virtual in-person registration.
If you are undertaking a course part-time or through distance-learning, you will only be required to complete online registration.
Once you have completed all parts of your registration you will receive an email to your university email account to confirm your registration is complete within 24 hours (excluding weekends).
Your registration deadline will depend on your course and start date. If you do not complete registration by your deadline or inform us that you wish to defer or withdraw, your record will be closed, and you may not be able to join the university.

- Pre-Sessional English - within 1 week of your course start date.
- PGCE - must be completed 7 September 2026.
- All other courses - within 3 weeks of your course start date. For taught students joining the university of 21 September 2026, the deadline is 12 October 2026. For research students joining the university on 1 October 2026, the deadline is 21 October 2026.
