Step 1: Send digital evidence of your Visitor eVisa
If you are a Visa National as indicated on this , your visitor will be a digital eVisa.
You will need to ensure you have set up your UKVI account and linked it to your eVisa, so that you can send us digital evidence of you eVisa by completing our Digital Visa Status form as soon as possible before you arrive.
We will also ask for evidence of your date of entry to the UK such as a boarding pass or eticket.
If you are from a country not on the list above and you have permission to travel via Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) Scheme, you do not need to complete this step.

Step 2: Complete in-person registration
For courses starting between 21 September and 1 October 2026:
The in-person registration event takes place 17-21 September 2026. Appointments can be booked from 20 August 2026.
If you are arriving after 21 September 2026, in-person registration appointments will become available after the above event.
You should check your school induction timetable before booking your appointment to avoid clashes.
Before attending your appointment, please make sure you have completed Step 1. This can take up to 3 days to process.
Attend your appointment on the date and time you booked. The event will be busy and we will not be able to see you before your appointment time. To complete in-person registration, you must bring:
- Your original current passport with you (copies, photographs or any other formas of identification cannot be accepted).

Once you have completed both in-person registration and online registration, you will receive a confirmation email to your university email account to verify your registration is complete.
