Once you have accepted your offer, you will need to complete a pre-course health assessment. The is delivered by Optima Health and is used to assess whether you’re fit to be on the course prior to starting. We need to be aware of any health conditions you have, and where possible all reasonable support will be provided. Please ensure you complete the questionnaire as soon as you receive the request, as this must be done, and approved, before you begin the course.

Optima Health will contact you from ‘notification@mail.tphealth.co.uk’ with instructions on how to complete the Pre Placement Questionnaire, also known as the PPQ.

• A few items are required to be bought from the Veterinary School; for example, the small animal tunic. You can source other items elsewhere if you prefer, although we require you to refer to the for guidelines on colour and style.

Every student is assigned a Big Vet, and you shall meet your Big Vet in week one at a lunch. Please complete the Big Vet: Little Vet form if you have any dietary requirements we need to be aware of.
