ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Dollies prove cloned sheep can live long and healthy lives

Three weeks after the scientific world marked the 20th anniversary of the birth of Dolly the sheep new research, published by The ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½, in the academic journal Nature Communications has shown that four clones derived from the same cell line — genomic copies of Dolly — reached their 8th birthdays in good health.

Collaborative research between the School and the George Green Institute for Electromagnetic Research achieves great things

?Funding has been awarded to a team of ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ researchers for a 30-month collaborative project for the US Office of Naval Research Global, "Propagating electromagnetic signals through complex built-up structures – Resilience of electronic components in the presence of EM noise and environmental uncertainty".

Join us in September for the Faculty of Science Summer Lecture 2026 to celebrate 20 years and find out what children's participation has taught researchers in the School of Psychology about how young minds grow and learn. Our speakers will be Professor Lucy Cragg, Dr Luke Holden and Professor Danielle Ropar from the School of Psychology. Following the lecture there will be refreshments and hands-on activities.
