We are delighted you've chosen to join us, and look forward to meeting and discovering mathematics together.

What you need to do before you arrive
Please make sure you do the following before Welcome Week:

Preparatory resources
Go to your Welcome Week Moodle page
The ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ uses Moodle which is a virtual learning environment where you will be able to find your learning materials (e.g., lecture slides) and where you submit your assessments, etc. We have provided a Welcome Week Moodle page that contains important information about induction activities.
You are expected to read through the information provided there and do several tasks to help you prepare.
You will be able to access Moodle from around 24 August, after you have activated your university IT account. If you have any difficulties with this, you can get IT support.
2.
Get social
You can keep up to date with school news and events via social media.
3.
Check your university email account regularly
Once you have activated your IT account you will have access to your university email address and you need to check this regularly. This is important as it is the School of Mathematical Sciences' primary way of communicating with you and we will be sending pre-course information emails.
Important information from us will only be sent to this email address (and not your personal email), so please check this inbox regularly, ideally at least once per day.
