Welcome to the School of Health Sciences

The journey you take with us will be life changing, and we are here to help you every step of the way.

This welcome guide gives you all the information you need to have a great start as you join our community.

Below you will find a welcome message from your programme lead, as well as your induction timetable to get your started for your first week.

You will also find important information about the steps you need to take now, before you arrive. These steps are essential for all students, particularly if you are studying a programme that has professional regulations.

Please make sure your actions are completed as soon as possible so that there are no delays to you beginning your programme or placements.

We look forward to meeting you in Welcome Week and getting to know as you progress through your programme!

Induction timetables

Your induction is a programme of activities and events to introduce you to your school and course. It's important that you attend each induction activity to give you the best start to the year.

Your induction timetable will be published here at the end of August. It will cover:

  • essential School of Health Sciences and university-wide registration activities
  • events to help you settle, feel at home and get to know your fellow students
